HOUSE OF ARCHES

The residence is a part of a gated community consisting of several row houses where the aim was to design sufficiently lit spaces with an apt bifurcation of private and public spaces within the layout of the house and bringing the tropical inside to create a revitalizing ambiance for the user. The comprehensive theme was to introduce openness within the liminal spaces of the house and imbue a sense of welcoming nature within these spaces. Thus, arches were introduced in the design as an aesthetic element that signifies structures with deep resonance, and are symbolic of new beginnings. With each space accentuating to an arch unique to its location and respective users, and thus the inception of the “HOUSE OF ARCHES”
