STRIP PAVILION
The strip pavilion stands amidst a sparsely forested zone where the structure serves as a memoir to the fallen trees in the vicinity, and simultaneously acts recreational zone for the populace that enables one to immerse themselves in the tranquility of nature, and is an antithesis to the customs of the suburbs. The installation is a hyperbolic structure that comprises of multiple nodes of triangular mesh within the structural frame anchored to the ground. The same curves within the structure mimic a semi-covered shade formed by the foliage of a tree and are also accessible for a diverse set of functions. With overgrown vegetation originating from the foundation, the structure signifies how nature finds ways to reclaim its fauna.
