Located within the sub-urbs of Surat city, the two-bedroom apartment is a moderately size residence for a family of four, it house aims to have flexible spaces with respect to various requirements, yet be functional at its core. Through an initial study it was inferred that any space is defined by the elements it contains, if the characteristics of the elements are transformed, the utility of space is altered. This helped us devised transformable elements that helped to alter the privacy and functionality of spaces, as and when required. To give it a spacious feel, the apartment is washed in white, with all backdrop walls painted in cemented grey texture, complemented by custom-designed artwork amplifying the character of space, and the same is complimented by teakwood furniture. This compact apartment performs a variety of transitional operations to spaces and METAMORPH-O-USE to suit the end-users.
